This four day stay represents a return visit. Unfortunately we were crammed against a perimeter fence in a slot with very little room. We had to park our truck within inches of our entry step. The RV park was full thus crowded. Cable TV reception adequate and barely satisfactory. Rest rooms and showers clean considering the intense traffic by campers. Beach walks a plus. Other amenities very acceptable. Town has many restaurants and within an easy walk. Lots of noise but lots of kiddies and young families. Fire rings a risk: too close to the units. Overall, campground best suited for young families with children.
Sites are concrete slabs, and roadways are paved. Growing shrubs provide some modicum of privacy between sites. Lower areas, closer to #101, there is road noise. Higher on the grounds, the view of the ocean is fabulous. Very clean and well maintained. Swimming pool and hot tub were terrific. Very expensive by most standards, most likely related to its proximity to Santa Barbara and LA. Not quite a "ten" but close. Very accommodating and courteous personnel.
We stayed the months of June and July at this site. Access to city of Morro Bay and environs was very convenient. Easy stroll to waterfront and dining, as well as downtown. The weather was awesome. Park has accommodating and gracious hosts. Restroom facilities were always clean. Most sites are bricked or concrete platforms and very impressive. We would not hesitate to return.
This was a very comfortable interim site for us. We stayed four days. It is close to the beach and easily within reach of the town of Morro Bay, a lovely costal city. The seafood is outstanding.
Lovely campground with very private camping slots created by well trimmed natural vegetation. Quiet, private and serene location only about 0.3 mile to the beach, which was magnificent. Restroom facilities are marginal for a campground with so many slots, but satisfactory. Very friendly staff. Sea Lion Caves nearby and city of Florence for exploring. Would return without a doubt.
